Meet Talia, RN, owner of Alpenglow Care.

Talia has called Teton County home since 2008. For more than five years, she worked as a Registered Nurse at St. John’s Health in Jackson specializing in perioperative care and primary care. Through her experience, she recognized a growing need for compassionate, personalized home nursing in the community. That insight led her to create Alpenglow Care, LLC, offering private home care designed to meet patients where they are, with the same skill and dedication she’s brought to her years of hospital and clinical practice.

I had the privilege of working with Talia several years ago during her time as an outpatient nurse at St. John’s Health in Jackson, Wyoming. As an anesthesiologist at St. John’s, I had many opportunities to observe her work and patient interactions. Talia distinguished herself by her compassion, strong clinical knowledge, and excellent nursing skills. She consistently provided thoughtful, attentive care and had a natural ability to reassure patients and their families during times of stress. These qualities made her a trusted and respected member of the care team. I am confident that the same dedication and expertise she demonstrated in the hospital will be the foundation of her new short-term care venture. Patients in Jackson Hole will be fortunate to have her guidance and support as they transition from hospital to home.

Talia worked in our OPS suite in Jackson Wyoming. She was responsible for getting patients ready for their procedures and helping them afterwards. She has a very easy approach with patients, displaying compassion even with the most difficult and frustrated patients. She worked diligently taking on the COVID testing aspect, which was the most demanding part of a very difficult process during the pandemic. I would recommend Talia for any position she would look to enter without reservation and would be concerned for any program that would overlook such an obviously talented and hardworking candidate with such a bright future.

I enthusiastically recommend Talia for any of your home care needs. I worked with Talia closely at Wilson Medical and was always impressed by her bright and positive attitude, great attention to details, organizational skills, general medical knowledge and broad skillset…she could do anything for my patients and do it with efficiency, competency, and endless empathy. She meets my top standard which is: “Who would I trust with my ailing mother or father if they needed home care?”

I had the pleasure of working with Talia in Outpatient Surgery at St. John’s; she is skilled, knowledgeable, and caring. She is forward-thinking and anticipated the patient’s needs after leaving the hospital, providing digestible education to both the patient and the family, as well as outreach for supportive services to help in the post-operative period. As a nurse and a patient, I highly recommend Talia for in home post-operative nursing care.
